Volunteering at Piedmont

Had a wonderful experience volunteering with the K4C team (Kids for Compassion) at the Piedmont Environmental Council-Community farm. The K4C team, which I have now become a member of, strives to inspire primarily younger individuals in meaningful acts of service. Its founder Vani started Kids for Compassion in 2018. At the farm, I harvested potatoes, onions, and groomed the onions! All of what has been harvested will go towards the Loudoun food pantries for the 2023 season as they are a partner organization to the Piedmont Environmental Council-Community farm. It was great to contribute in a small way and I look forward to continuing to participate with the Piedmont Environmental Council-Community farm and do more volunteer opportunities with the K4C team.
